Sustainability

At Jessica Wellness, we believe that true wellbeing extends beyond skincare, it encompasses our responsibility to people, the planet, and inclusive progress. Our approach is grounded in education, integrity, compassion, and conscious innovation.

Creating Wellness with Purpose

Social Responsibility

Jessica Wellness is more than a brand, it is a movement rooted in education, empowerment, and social impact. Through our platforms, we offer high-value wellness content, from live workshops to detox programs, making holistic health accessible for all.

As part of our commitment to health education, founder Jessica Lameda recently authored the groundbreaking book and bestseller More Chocolate, Less Diet, a practical, empowering guide that redefines the relationship between pleasure and wellness. This book invites readers to embrace balanced living without guilt or restriction, reinforcing our belief that health should be joyful, inclusive, and sustainable.

We proudly support community initiatives and inclusive employment practices. Inspired by founder Jessica Lameda’s autistic son, Diego, we foster a supportive, inclusive workplace where Diego actively contributes to the business, labelling bottles, preparing samples, and even creating original artwork.

Jessica Wellness has been recognized globally for its educational impact and commitment to health, having been featured on major media platforms and invited to speak at the Women Economic Forum and Harvard’s Women Leaders Congress.

Clean, Conscious, Low-Tox by Design

Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of every decision we make. From farm to formula, we prioritize:

✔ Sustainable Packaging – Glass containers and recyclable materials reduce plastic use and promote reuse. We avoid excess packaging and are transitioning to reclaimed plastic and single material packaging for pumps and dosing systems.
✔ Eco-Friendly Shipping – We use biodegradable, FSC- and PEFC-certified mailers and kraft paper, with efforts to localize production and reduce emissions.
✔ Ethical Sourcing & Manufacturing – We grow our turmeric using biosustainable farming in Venezuela and produce skincare in small batches at our Naples, Florida lab. Each ingredient is cruelty-free, non-GMO, child-labor free, and backed by rigorous third-party testing and certifications (ISO, WHO-GMP, HACCP, REACH, Vegan, etc.).
✔ Zero Waste & Innovation – Our “small-batch, fresh-batch” philosophy minimizes waste, maximizes potency, and allows real-time responsiveness to customer needs.

As we expand into Australia, we are working toward local manufacturing in Western Australia using native, eco-conscious ingredients with the goal of becoming Australian Made, Certified Organic, and Australian Certified Toxin-Free.

Women-Led, Culture-Driven

Diversity

Jessica Wellness is proudly women-founded and women-led across continents. CEO and founder Jessica Lameda, based in the U.S., and her sister Mary Lameda, COO of Jessica Wellness Australia, are Venezuelan migrants who bring their rich cultural heritage, resilience, and innovation to the global wellness space.

Together, they are redefining leadership in a traditionally male-dominated industry, elevating female voices, celebrating cultural diversity, and creating opportunities for underrepresented communities.

As a certified Women-Owned business in the U.S. (WBENC), we continue to pave the way for inclusive entrepreneurship and wellness solutions that reflect the world we want to build.

Our approach: At Jessica Wellness, we strive to align with recognised Australian and ISO sustainability frameworks. As a small, family-run brand, we implement many of these requirements through practical controls (traceability, supplier vetting, reduced packaging, and small-batch production), and we are continuously improving our systems as we scale.
